John Turner grew up in Ashland, Oregon. He completed his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude in 2007. He then earned his D.M.D. in 2011 from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Turner has completed courses on IV sedation and Invisalign®, and he also has advanced training in implantology and the removal of wisdom teeth. He recently participated as an instructor with Western Surgical and Sedation, where he taught surgical procedures to other dentists. He is a member of the Inland Empire Periodontal Study Club, the Intermountain Odontology Study Club the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In his spare time, you will find Dr. Turner enjoying all that the Palouse has to offer. He is an avid skier, fly fisherman, golfer, and hunter. He enjoys competing in archery and shooting sports. He loves to travel with his most recent trip being to New Zealand with his wife McKinzie. He is a true fan of his alma mater’s team, the Oregon State Beavers, and attends games any time the Beavers play in Pullman. Dr. Turner has been married to his wife, McKinzie since 2013, and they have a 3.5 year old son named Doran, a newborn daughter named Ellie and a cat named Fuzzy.
